Bagpipe Tuition Edinburgh

Allan Macdonald offers bagpiping tuition to students at all levels – from beginners to advanced pupils in Edinburgh. Lessons can be given on SKYPE or on a 1 to 1 basis in Edinburgh

He specialises in an older style of Pibroch that is much easier to learn, less bewildering and much more easily understood than what is played at present.

It is recommended that for most people the lessons are continuous over a set period with particular goals set for each phase. Reduced prices are offered for those booking a series of lessons after prior arrangement with Allan.

Normal hourly rates are set out below:

BAGPIPING TUITION

ADULTS: £40 per hour/£25 per half hour

STUDENTS/CHILDREN: £35 per hour/£20 per half hour

GAELIC LANGUAGE & SONG

Allan also offers lessons in Gaelic and Gaelic Song for beginners to advanced level. Fees may be reduced for groups.

Normal hourly rates are laid out below:

£30 per 50 minutes tuition

JEWS HARP TUITION: £15 per half hour

TIN WHISTLE TUITION: £15 per half hour
